Vineyard Source: Hans Estate Vineyard, East Bench, Osoyoos - Hans Estate Vineyard, East Bench, Osoyoos — a 16-acre site planted in 2001 and farmed with care (and a touch of stubbornness) by the Hans family: Harry, Kulbir, and son Balkar.
Winemaking: Aged 40 months in oak - 71% new American oak and 29% neutral American oak, amplifying depth and complexity while showcasing the vineyard’s raw power.
Nose: Eucalyptus/menthol, cedar, raisins
Taste: Blackberry, black plums, sage
Vintage: The 2021 growing season was marked by extreme heat and drought, with record‑breaking temperatures in June and July stressing the vines. This intense environment produced small, concentrated berries that translated into bold, structured wines with deep, expressive flavours.
