2024 Hickenbothom Chardonnay

Have you ever forgotten someone's name and felt embarrassed to ask them? Well, in situations like that, we tend to come up with alternative names to refer to them, such as Whozit or Whatstherename. Similarly, in the case of a Chardonnay wine that we cannot seem to make the same way every year, we give it a fun and unique name, Mr. Hickenbothom. This allows us to refer to it without worrying about the specifics of its production process. It’s like having a nickname for a friend who has a complicated name, and although we hope to one day discover its true name, we enjoy the mystery and unpredictability that Mr. Hickenbothom brings to our lives.
