2025 Rhymes with Door Hinge
Varietal: 52% Schönburger, 40% Chardonnay, 8% Other German Aromatics
Vineyard: Ghost Notes Vineyard (West Kelowna), Singita Vineyard (Summerland)
Winemaking: Fermented on skins for 2 weeks, then aged 5 months in stainless steel
Nose: Froot Loops, bergamot, Asian pear
Taste: Blood orange, Orange Pekoe tea, grapefruit peel
Label TL;DR: Inspired by Paul Morstad's Earl of Gray, originally painted using heavily steeped Earl Grey tea, this label reflects both the artwork and the winemaking. Just as the tea was "heavily steeped," the wine spends over two weeks macerating on its skins, extracting colour, texture, and complexity before resting in stainless steel. The result is a vibrant orange wine with a captivating personality—and a label as delightfully eccentric as the wine itself.
