Hans Estate Cabernet Franc comes from one of our most extreme and expressive vineyard sites in Osoyoos. A steep, east-facing slope planted in deep desert sand that pushes the vines to produce small, concentrated fruit with serious intensity. Farmed 2001, this sun-drenched site delivers Cabernet Franc with deep colour and vibrant aromatics.

Winemaking: 42 months (32% new American oak, 68% neutral oak)
Nose: Mexican hot chocolate, coffee, gingerbread
Taste: Brambleberry, blackberry, dark chocolate
Vintage: 2022; a warm, steady season with sunny days and cool nights that allowed for slow, even ripening, producing concentrated fruit with focused tannins, and balanced acidity; ideal conditions for structured reds.
