2021 Hatchchild

Meet Hatchchild: Our not-so-subtle nod to the legendary Rothschild family and their iconic Château Mouton Rothschild labels. Inspired by the infamous 2000 vintage, we borrowed... generously. Think of it as the Kardashian approach to marketing: any publicity is good publicity. We figured the fastest way to fame might be getting a cease and desist from one of the biggest names in wine. Spoiler alert: they never noticed.

Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vineyard: 53% Monarch Vineyard, Osoyoos & 47% Jagger Rock Vineyard, Cawston

Winemaking: 5 years in American Oak, 72% new, 28% neutral

Nose: Cedar plank, purple plums, tobacco leaf.

Taste: Boysenberry, Concord grape jelly, and graphite.
