2022 River Road Gamay

Varietal(s): 100% Gamay

Vineyard: Keremeos (River Road) enriched with mineral deposits and sandy loam with excellent drainage. The vines are planted on a south-facing slope with great sun exposure and cooler nights.

Winemaking: Aged in 100% Neutral Oak Barrels for 30 Months

Nose: Floral (Roses), Strawberry

Taste: Fine Tannins, Crushed Raspberries, Spice

Vintage: 2022, later ripening due to a cool start resulting in delayed veraison and a shorter ripening period. The warm summer conditions aided ripening producing wines which are well balanced with bright acidity.
