the hatch Welcome's Home Screaming Frenzy!
Hi Frenzy Family,
It’s us, Ross O. and B. Yanco. The classic colour combination. The red and the white. Two peculiar personalities who have been roaming this rust‑kissed garage since the first grape dared to wander in. Something stirred in the rafters recently, a little thrum in the air, and we knew exactly what it meant.
Screaming Frenzy is leaving the nest and returning to the coop.
You were born right here at the hatch, back when this place was a curious contraption of cracked concrete, squeaky barstools and questionable plumbing. Your story took its first loud breath inside these walls before you stretched your wings and soared up the hill with the Black Swift, that noble, vineyard‑specific creature of focus and finesse.
But deep down, you were always the commotion and the colour. The lively little storm that fills a room with noise and joy. And sometimes, when timing is right, those kinds of spirits wander back to the place that first gave them permission to be loud.
So welcome home.
Welcome back to the hatch, that charmingly chaotic convergence of wine, art and living imagination. We’ve set a spot at the long table. We chilled a bottle. Someone scribbled “reserved for troublemakers” on a piece of cardboard and taped it at an angle that looked just intentional enough to leave alone.
The Black Swift will always be there when you want something focused and fierce, a rare creature soaring in its own private slice of sky. But here at the hatch, you get the whole clattering, creative family. The misfits. The makers. The merry assembly that insists wine should feel liberating, not intimidating.
So come in. Shake the journey from your shoulders. Take your seat at the table of familiar oddities.
We missed you.
With affection and an enthusiastic amount of racket,
Ross O. and B. Yanco
