Meet our new Fan Club Manager

My name is John-Daniel, and I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself. I have just joined Jason Parkes Customs as your new Fan Club Manager and am genuinely excited to get to know you all. 

I come by wine honestly. While originally from Vancouver Island, I spent many summers growing up visiting family in Provence and the Rhône Valley. Those early trips sparked a curiosity about wine that eventually turned into a career. What later began as a single summer job on a tasting bar turned into more than a decade working in Canadian wine, from Niagara to the Okanagan, with time spent in vineyards, cellars, tasting rooms, and classrooms. I have also been lucky enough to complete harvests in Alsace and Burgundy along the way, where I learned a more global perspective on wine and the people who are passionate about it. 

What I have learned through all of that is simple. Wine is about people first. Conversation, curiosity, and sharing something you enjoy with others. That is exactly what drew me to Jason Parkes Customs and to this Fan Club community. 

You already know this, but JPC is a special place. It is welcoming, honest, and rooted in experience rather than pretense. Wine is not dead, and here there is truly no BS, just good wine, beer and cider. 

Whether you have been part of the Fan Club for years or are newer to the community, I am really looking forward to getting to know you. My goal is to make sure your Fan Club experience feels personal, enjoyable, and worth being part of. I hope we cross paths soon, hopefully in person over your favourite glass.
