March - Sips of Support
Jason Parkes Customs (JPC) is proud to announce the launch of Sips of Support, a month-long giveback initiative running throughout March. The campaign aims to raise vital funds and awareness for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter, an organization dedicated to providing safety, resources, and hope for women and children
escaping domestic violence.
For the entire month of March, JPC will donate $1 from every bottle of Rosé sold, both in person at their West Kelowna locations and through online wine purchases, directly to the
shelter.
A Mission Rooted in Memory
For founder Jason Parkes, Sips of Support is more than a corporate initiative; it is a deeply personal tribute to his family. The campaign honours the memory of Jason’s cousin, Aimee Parkes, who tragically lost her life to intimate partner violence.

“This cause carries profound meaning for us,” says Jason Parkes. “Aimee’s story is a reminder of the urgent need for stronger support systems in our community. By raising a glass through Sips of Support, we aren’t just selling wine; we are standing in solidarity with those seeking safety and a path forward.”
Kelowna Women’s Shelter Executive Director Michelle Dickie emphasizes the importance of community involvement in addressing domestic abuse:
“We know that 1 in 3 Canadians experience abuse in their lifetime – that number is far too high. This initiative gives us all an opportunity to raise our voices for change and come together to stand for safety, dignity and support. Domestic abuse is not a private issue, it’s a community concern and we’re grateful to partner with Jason Parkes Customs to strengthen supports in our community.” – Michelle Dickie, Executive Director, Kelowna Women’s Shelter
How to Participate
From the Okanagan to your doorstep, everyone can join this mission. Supporters can
contribute to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter by visiting any JPC location in person or by
ordering online for delivery. The giveback applies to a wide range of fan-favorite beverages across the JPC portfolio:
• The Wineries: $1 from every bottle of Rosé purchased at Crown & Thieves, Black
Swift Vineyards, and the hatch.
• The Hatching Post Brewery & Smokery: $1 from every Rouge Rebel Pint and Blaze
Blush Cocktail purchased.
• Truck 59 Ciderhouse: $1 from every 4-pack of Rosé cider cans purchased.
Whether stocking up on bottles in-person at our tasting rooms to fill your cellar or ordering online for home delivery, every purchase serves as a small act of kindness that contributes to refuge and healing for local families.
